I will take a look on staffs Bmd. It gives the spouses names aswell. Have I got this right, William was a butcher on the 81 and 1901 but a builder on the 91? Julie

I understand the butcher bit. Jounyman? Possibly a butchers van! Does it say if he was employed or an employer.

I thought that when I had Journeyman painter in mine it means apprentice learning the trade Jeanette
