Micheal Hopson abt 1843 Hatteredge, Derbyshire, England Head Woolwich St Mary London Elizabeth Hopson abt 1843 Stockport, Lancashire, England Wife Woolwich St Mary London Dennis J Hopson abt 1869 Woolwich, Kent, England Son Woolwich St Mary London Catherine Rilleen abt 1811 Helegoland Woolwich St Mary London Maybe they're related to yours lol Catherine is Elizabeth's mother :) and I just found out that some of them went to the RC church in Hathersage, so this all fits nicely now. |

What about trying to find Elizabeth Killeen on the 1861 census... this could give you some family names that they may of used for their own children. |

Yes, Justine, that's the one I found. As you can understand it confused me quite a bit when I couldn't find them on a census lol I had a look at the Michael & Elizabeth you found. Might be them, but who knows lol |

Assuming children would of followed the marriage there are two births in Bakewell following the marital year of 1866, these are the only two in Bakewell so maybe they moved to Leeds as well. Male, Hobson 1870 June Bakewell Edwin Hobson, 1877 September Bakewell The only Michael and Elizabeth that I can find as a couple are on the American Census of 1880 and their birth years are 12 years out!!!! But they were born in England.... |
