The registers have more than one couple on a page, the other names are people who married that are on that same page.

There was space for 2 couples on the marriage register page, but on freebmd they are listed alphabetically so you have to guess who partnered whom. Liz x

Have you noticed that Esther b1864 is with John and Thos in 1871, but then has been absorbed into the Davis family in 1881. I wonder if Thomas's wife died, and Hannah and James adopted her, as Thomas is lodging elsewher in 1881. It would be interesting to obtain her birth ceret to see who her parents are. Liz x
