Having just sat and trawled through the images for the Portsea Workhouse 1871 cenus have found two of them (mistranscribed as expected!) Christine, Cannot find that info you posted from World Tree - is it from Ancestry World Tree or OneWorld Tree. Do you know what info you put in to find it - have tried all sorts of combinations but cannot seem to get there. I can't see him on 1871 onwards, but looks like he married in 1890s - sorry the tree elsewhere was unhelpful. Have looked for other siblings - elusive aren't they!
