All the more reason for you to give us the fathers' names, so they can be traced on earlier censuses.............or at least give us the1881 info. Reg

You are going to hate be but I have'nt a clue with regards to their ages only that they are in their twenties as the census records keep showing different birth years to their marriage records - but I do know that they definitely come from Lambeth. Linda

So they wouldn't be 29 in 1901.....only 22/23. Reg

Marriage states aged 21 but thats a query going by their deaths. going by the census they are both from Lambeth and they were married dec 1899 Linda

The 36 year old has a husband named John and numerous offspring ...some born before 1891 There is NO Alfred Moss b. Lambeth on 1901 Incidentally, the children's births don't have to be after marriage!! Reg

What were their ages when they married? And what was the wedding date? Did either of them give a second forename? Reg

Where does Clerkenwell fit into all this? nell

Not really. Lambeth is south of the Thames and Clerkenwell is on the north eastern edge of the City of London, just southeastish of Kings X. You can see where they are in relation to eachother by looking on www streetmap co uk. nell

The one I found was the same as the one Reggie found. They were living in 3 rooms, Alfred is a window cleaner with his own account. May have married after children were born I have found that a lot in family research. Check the birth details of the children on FreeBMD. Irene
