Hi Joyce, The children of Winifred .... were they older or younger than you ? what do you think ? .... Try and work out how old you THINk they may have been compared to yourself. For instance .... if you were 6 or 7, were they the same sort of age .... or quite a lot older than you ( early teens / late teens ?) If you have met the children, you must have some idea as to how old they were compared to yourself. Without asking what year YOU were born in, you can give us a fair idea of when they could have been born ? When I was young !! ( about 35 years ago, we always had loads of visitors every weekend. Aunts, Uncles, cousins etc. Even now, I couldn't put a name to the faces ... but I remember that I played with a couple of them, so I estimate them to be around about my sort of age. Another arrived in a pushchair - so definately YOUNGER than me, others drove, so I KNOW they were obviously old enough to drive ....... and one in particular talked about her 'new husband' so obviously she was old enough to marry. Have a think Joyce ... and let us know. I can't afford to TRAWL 1837online for you looking for possible 'Peters' children - but if you give me some indication of possible years, I'm more than willing to have a good look for a possible marriage of Winifred on your behalf. Was the HUSBAND still alive when YOU visited ... or had he already died ? Elaine ;-) |
