My son is doing a project on Queen Victoria, so having access to ancestry I thought I'd try to find her on some of the census but I can't! Surely she was registered, I'm sure I read an example somewhere where it showed all her details. Anybody else managed to find her? If so I would be grateful if you could tell me what to put in to the search. I've tried just putting in her date of birth (1819) and just the name Victoria, but nothing. Tried putting in Queen too but no help. If anybody has some spare time then any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Lorraine

tried Windsor? Think that is what our present queen would be under in the future. GLoria

Phew, thanks everybody, that should keep me busy this morning! I think the main problem is they keep calling her different things (I didn't know her name was Alexandrina!) but it is even hard tracking down the children's names. I managed the 1851 OK and will now check out the 1881 but can find no traces on the 1861, 1871 and 1891. I will go in to Ancestry and check out the one World tree, Many thanks everybody, Lorraine

Hi....1871 Queen Victoria was probably in Balmoral (She went into deep mourning after losing her husband whhich lasted almost 15 years, during this time she lived in almost total seclusion in balmoral) Suzanne
