Lady Liberty and Jeanette. Many thanks to you for suggesting Thomas is Henry. It would certainly clear up a lot of doubts so I am going to do just that. Margaret i think you will find Thomas is Henry as his son Henry (1842) is there. perhaps he didn't like the name Thomas Jeanette

1851 - writing not very clear but I would transcribe it as Keane

Margaret, What do you mean he is no where to be found, All above census returns strongly suggest these entry's are 'him'...... As Jeanette as said he is probobally using the name 'Henry'.....

think you will find that Thomas is Henry and went by his middle name. Jeanette

Image for 1861 could read Keenes, however the 'S' not very clear, names, area and approx year of birth's suggest it's deffo them!
