Hi Just to let you know I ordered Amy's birth certificate & it has eventually arrived. It confirms her mothers maidens name is Rickett Hoorrayyy!!!!! Penny Thanks again for your help Another brick wall has been broken |

Have checked on map of Great Britain and can see that Bovingdon and Chipperfield are only about 2 miles apart as the crow flies. If you look for Hannah Dancer in 1851 she gives her place of birth as Bovingdon as well. Then in 1861 she gives is as Chipperfield. Joy |

Please bear in mind that the Bovingdon entry is submitted, while the Chipperfield one is from parish records. |

Just looked on Ancestry but previously ordered the 1869 last year. On IGI there is an Eliza Ricketts in Bovingdon & Elizabeth Ricketts in Chipperfield!!! |

1861 Census Eliza Ricket abt 1839 Chiperfield Hertfordshire Sister-in-Law Bovingdon Hertfordshire Living with Thomas Dancer abt 1822 Wendover Buckinghamshire his wife is Hannah which suggests Eliza and Hannah are sisters. Joy |
