Yes have marriage cert in front of me and all info given is whats stated on the certs her birth date is 17. oct 1898

yeah i know i might have to except i wont find her on cenus at all all i have on kate for def is her birth , marriage awaiting her death cert anyday i have her parents marriage

why does the fact that she married in Bermondsey mean she was born there - where has that FACT come from? Q: do you have that marriage cert in front of you, or is her fathers name just what you have been told?

Alexandra, I will say what i said on your other thread that you deleted, If the family that you posted (1901census) are yours and kate is in hospital or a visitor some where then there is a good chance that she is mis-transcribed as they may not have given the correct info on the census. as to where and when born or the name could be a different spelling. Ok Kate Married George Richard Browning on 31 july 1919 she married at the register office in the district of st Olave Bermondsey county London. Kate was 20 and George 22. George was a leather cutter and lived 6 a block vine street buildings bermondsey his father was George Burley browning also a leather cutter. Kate was living at 15 decima street bemondsey father James Pickett coal dealer witnesses james Pickett and Norah Pickett-(2nd wife as Kates mother died 1907) I have lots of info on the browning side.

I understand what you are saying but we are going round and round in circles. maybe you need to start from the begining again because we cannot find this kate wherever we look, start again. where and when did she marry and who?

thanks jess i am just hoping to find Kate Pickett stated somewhere as otherwise i am never going to know who if any her siblings were for definet and we have no one to ask! as she was young when she died and all her children didnt really know her or her family.
