I have looked at the 1871 image and it is a girl and should be Jane H, the person who transcribed the image has made a mistake. I may not have the correct family in 1841, but the children seem to fit, i don't know who James is, I will have another look |

I have been searching the 1841 census, looking for the children as well as the parents, but I can't find another family which seems to fit. The trouble is the head of this family is clearly written as James, so I am sorry, but I just don't know what the answer is.Perhaps someone else can have a look at the 1841 and see if they can find a different family for you.
