Hi Tracey. Many thanks for the excellent offer. Would it be possible for you to look for Catherine Grierson BEATTIE. Believe that she was born in Salford (Lancashire) to Thomas Beattie & Elizabeth Grierson I am looking for a marriage for her & any possible family from that marriage Many thanks

Hiya Tracy - many thanks for the really kind offer. I was wondering if you could look on Boyd's marriage index for a Charles Skillman who married Sophia. Many thanks, Tom

Hiya Tracey. thanks for wonderful offer you made to us all I am looking for a Thomas Family in B'ham area - from my Grandmothers wedding cert I have her as follows : - Vol 6d Page 43 - 1st qtr of 1925 Violet Thomas Aged 25 at 12th Jan 1925 (makes her DoB c1900?) She married an Albert Edwin Stocker (his birth was vol 9c page 109 and death was vol 6d page 236). The wedding Cert shows her Father as Henry Thomas a bricklayer and the address on Cert was 2 b 10 Moseley Road - Birmingham I am wondering if this family were at this address 2 b 10 Moseley Road Birmingham in the census 1901 - or previous to that?? If so were any other members of this family present too?? etc.. Is there anyone who can look at this for me please as I can't locate a birth cert as the two likely Violet's born in B'ham at this time are not her (father is different on Birth Certs) - so it could be the age was wrong on her wedding cert or she was born away from B'ham districts - I am not sure which. Tracey I don't know now how else I can find more of my Grandmothers family as all I know is what was on wedding cert - do not know her mother - siblings etc.. yet or where family originated from etc.. I really am at a brick wall with it. Anything anyone can show me is a bonus. Thanks for your help.

Tracy, If your offer of lokkups at British Origins still stands I would be very grateful for your help. They say there are 7 marriages listed for DENNAFORD, - exact spelling- and I have found only 2 by other means (Elizabeth in 1837 and John in 1838 - both at Tavistock); also they have 15 Dennafords listed in the 1841 and 1871 censuses and I can account only for 10 (Edmund of Stoke Dameral; Edmund of Hatherliegh; Edmund of St Andrews and their families and William of Stoke Dameral in 1841 and William of Hatherleigh in 1871.). If you could identify the extra Dennafords for me that would be great. MAny thanks Jane
