Just to let you know I have all the dates for every other Kneebone in the Crich, Derbyshire area apart from the ones ive listed. I did a thorough search on all Kneebone and ordered cert's for many as thats my main line (maiden name).

Can't see them on 1841 Reg

That looks more likely Reg. So does that mean the 1841 isnt the same people, or that some are missing and some others are added for some reason. Her place of birth is wrong on the 1841 if it is still them. Thanks,

Would this not be the most LIKELY candidate for Elizabeth Dawes ???? There is another Elizabeth Dawes BUT if she was the one who married Kneebone above, she would be 5 years older on the 1841 census.

Reggie, on the 1901 census i think they spelt his surname wrong. He was living with his wife Alice in Tamworth or Dordon, Staffordshire/Warwickshire. In 1891 i think he was living with his brother and his brothers wife. x Deb

David Kneebone born c1870 (not 1970). Have you got any census info on him? I can't see him anywhere............. But you will only learn his exact birth date from the cert........even a baptismal record (if there is one) would be unlikely to give his birth date. This applies to all bmd's, unless they are marriages, and appear on the IGI. You may well benefit from doing some searching yourself, to ascertain whether additional info has appeared on line since you last looked. Reg Reg

Ive looked on familysearch.org for eliz dawes. but theres only two marrriages for that name 1800ish. it was a popular name in the area i think. dont have access to the census online, unless its free somewhere i dont know about? thanks,

Deb, if I were you I would have a look at each of them yourself if as you say it is a year since you looked at them, because you will probably find you can clear most of them up yourself, and then post up the ones you are still stuck on so people know where to start. You most likely have more information on each of these people than you have put on this thread, such as census info etc. and if somebody else is going to try to sort them out for you they will have to start from scratch with looking these people up on the census to get some clues.
