Staffordshirebmd have Harry born 1869 Newcastle-u-Lyme and Florence May 1878 also N-u-L so it looks as if Harry is Mary in 1871??

Hi Heather i am on the bmd site now, no birth in any year for a harry, so i am wondering if harry is really a mary then, then she must have gotten married and moved on if you get me. Do you know what it says on the actual image on the 1881 census, as i have got the 1881 census off the igi site.? I have a feeling harry is now a girl named mary, pmsl, LOL :-) oh forgot to say, there is a mary born correct year, area etc, so it looks like its a mary, lol :-0

It's Mary on the image. Perhaps the enumerator couldn't read his own handwritng. Have you checked staffordshirebmd for births? Heather

Hi eliane yes i was looking for harry, as the daughter is florence may, but they must have called her may, as there is only one birth and it says florence may, there was no harry, so i thought may be his name was wrong, but it says mary, son, on that census, lol. so im wondering now, if he is a she, lol :-)

So are you looking for Harry - born c 1871 ??
