im looking for the exact death of Elizabeth (betty) Smithson? it will be after 1871 (she was born in 1810) thanx

Going by your previous thread with her date of birth being 1835 - 1841, and bearing in mind she was on the 1901 census, this is a possibility Deaths Jun 1903 Smithson Ellen 67 Liverpool 8b 98 taken from FREE BMD

Where do you get EXACT dates Reg????? some people who have searched for me have found Day/month/year for me.

Kelly - can I make a suggestion. When you are requesting a death lookup then its useful to let people know the last census date you found the person, and where they were at the time. This is the only death on FreeBMD on Ancestry that has a birth year anywhere near Thomas's Name: Thomas Smithson Birth Date: abt 1842 Year of Registration: 1905 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec Age at death: 63 District: Bolton County: Lancashire Volume: 8c Page: 255 I think you will need to look through the Complete Indexes on Ancestry (free to search) to see if there are any others that might be him. You won't get an exact date of death from this period. If people have found exact dates for you it is either from much later events (after 1983) or much earlier (taking information from the LDS website which isn't always accurate). You need to buy certificates in most cases to get exact dates. Kath. x
