I guess you looked at these? It does say on the image that Thomas is born in Ireland, (but also that Mary is too). Names are not all true to the 1891, but the children are all born in Durham.) Hi Gillian, They were never in a Scottish census, checked that out too on Scotlandspeople. So strange isn't it. I have them 1871, after they married, also 1891, 1901 but not the 1881. Betty
