Found details on 192 email search of Robert Stickland 22 living Whitechapel and Margaret Stickland 50 living Whitechapel. Would some kind person please check 1861 please. Would you please check out the census records for me for George Strickland he was born at Whitechapel 1842 and died 1890. On IGI looks like his parents are Robert and Margaret.My ancestry membership has run out now Many thanks Irene

Irene I cant see a George Strickland born in Whitechapel on the 1851-1861 census do you know his parents names? Georgina.

I have his baptism on IGI looks like Robert and Margaret - cannot find their marriage so they may have married before 1837. Many thanks Irene ps he married 1883 and died 1890 so will not be found with his wife in the census.

Irene I have found his birth on FreeBMD but he is not showing on any census?? I have even looked for a death for his father & re-marriage for his mother but nothing obvious, sorry. Georgina.

Totally confused on this one. Do you have marriage or death cert or how did you work out that George was born 1842 or that this is the right one. I presume this is the wrong death? Thank you for your kind replies. Sorry I was not here to reply sooner - just been to visit my old uncle. I have the information on George Strickland from a family member saying he was born 24.03.1842/married 21.01.1883 and then died 1890 but they have no other information. On IGI there is a baptism that fits in with that birth date for George with parents Robert and Margaret. The children George had were George, Robert and Margaret so it seems to tie in. I have no access to census to look for George before 1881 so was hoping to find him with his parents to confirm who his parents were. Regards Irene
