Find Ancestors

Hello firstly thank you for reading this, im trying to help a friend find her rellies, Her grandmother past away a couple weeks ago and its her wish to put together a Family tree for her mothers birthday. here is the information i have to date, but any info would be of great help as we dont have much time. Great Grandmother was called Adeline Locke (Nee Smith) was born in Grimsby on 6th July (1927?) She died April 6th 1998? Her Mother (great great grandmother) was called Elizabeth Smith and she lived at 7 Duke Street for some time. Great Grandfather was called James Patrick Locke and was born in Berry Manchester 3rd Oct (Year not known) and he died Nov 2004 they were married 19th January (around 1943) Also have , Mary Davies (nee Richmond) and Alfred Davies they had 6 children called Lenard Marion barry John, Paul and alfred. Alfreds Parents were called George and Ethal (nee Green) Davies This is all i have if anyone can help to add even the slightest piece of information to this i would be most grateful. Hi rachael Adeline Smith born 6 July 1922 there are 2 entires for That quarter (BMD are registerd in Quarters) one born Grimsby mothers maiden name Wivell and the other born St Geo East mother maide name Smith,do you know which one she is? xx

Jame Locke was born 1922 a James Locke was registered Oct-Dec 1922 mothers maiden name Whiting in Salford,there is no James Patrick on Death or Birth record,i take it it is the one who died Nov 2004 North East Lincolnshire? xx

As far as we are aware she was born in Grimsby, So the one you found looks a very good match Yes James died in North East lincs, sorry i dont know much more, but thank you so much for helping , its really important so anything you find is fantastic Rachael

I've found a marriage in 1903 in Bury for Albert Locke to Louisa Whiting,aso found another child Annie born Bury 1911 do any of that seem familiar? Without getting marriage certificates and Births it can be difficult if nothing else is known. xx

looking at the papers i have there is mention of a Albert Locke but thats all i have no dates or anything for him, but the mothers maiden name would match with the birth of james it would seem

I think you could be right, as even then they were still having babies into the 40's so it does look like them
