Oh, I would never delete anything. Never understand deleting, myself!

Jackie may some day wander back here to GR and find she has a message waiting for her.

Now *you* be sure to keep your email address up to date in your account details! ;)

Another tip -- look in your Sent Messages folder -- if the envelope beside your message to her is still purple, she hasn't read it, unfortunately.

Valerie - Jacqueline's post is almost 6 years old. It's very unlikely she is looking for replies, especially since it was not possible to post replies at that time.

If you click on her name you can send a private message. *If* she still has the same email address, she will get notification of it.

Good luck!

Robert Chapman
I have a Robert Chapman born about 1867 in Co Wexford he was married to a Catherine Lambert and had quite a large family, one of whom was my mother-in-law Catherine.I know she had a brother George born 1897 and according to the 1911 census she had sisters as well, the youngest being born in 1911, whether they went on to have more children I do not know. I have been told that the name Robert is rare amongst the Chapmans of Fethard this being the reason I have contacted you. This family may not be anything to do with your family but I thought you may like this information.ps. I have now been advised by a member of my family that a Robert was born around 1915

Hello. I am trying to trace any living relatives of my grandfather, Robert Chapman, born circa 1920 in Fethard on Sea, County Wexford. I have very little information on his family background, but it is my understanding that his mother died during childbirth and he lived with various relatives up until he left Ireland when he was 14 to work on the merchant navy ships. He subsequently arrived in Liverpool around 1947 ish where he met and married my grandmother Lillian Gerrard of the Everton area. They had one son together Derek (my father). Sadly Robert contracted TB on one of his shipping trips and died at the age of 32. If anyone has any information, I would be most grateful to hear from you. Thank you and regards.
