NOTE that there is no birth of a Paul A Howes with mmn Waters.

You need his marriage cert to ascertain his parents' names, and his age.

Sorry, but the maths doesn't work for me .......if Sophie's father wasn't born till the late 1960's, his parents are unlikely to have married in 1941...........

I agree - had just come to the same conclusion.

Ancestry suggests Paul's birth in 1967, with mmn Reynolds [ and also suggested on this thread on 30 Dec by Maddie].

Living in Norwich as at 2013 ER, and Sonya is listed at same address until at least 2010. They probably opted out of the public ER after those dates.


SONIA Howes of Norwich has a Facebook friend named Sophie Howes, in Norwich, and has posted recently (Sept 2025) on Sophie's Facebook page.
The reason for the post fits with Terry's original query.
Doesn't Sophie's father ( ADDED: or mother) know who his parents were?

I don't think Sophie has contact with her father................................reading between the lines of Terry's post.
