For what it may be worth - this is the only illegitimate birth of a child named Henry, born 1889-92 in Bangor RD , which includes Beaumaris - but also many other places. |

His DoB as per 1939 may be not be accurate..........he is accorded an age of 12 in 1901, which may, in itself, be only a guess. |

Depending on what age he was when he was adopted, I wondered if he WAS actually a Henry born in Beaumaris in 1890.?.....(Bangor Registration District) |

I had wondered if he might have been a son of one of Margaret's sisters - but it doesn't seem so. |

It is interesting that in 1901, the 'son' Henry is shown with a definite named birthplace, which might indicate that his natural parents were known to the family perhaps. |

Almost certainly just a comment relating to the fact that the word ‘adopted’ had been added by someone other than the householder |

Just looking at the 1911 census with Charles, Margaret and Henry I would be fascinated to know if anyone can hazard a guess at what it reads under the crossing out. Could it be a name of the adopted Henry?? |
