Can't see their marriage.

There's a marriage of a Bernard McWilliams and Mary Anne Johnston in Glasgow in 1845 - but that's not them, mistranscribed or misheard.
That couple are together in 1851, both born in Ireland.

He was shown as 65 on 1881 census, so why do you think you have the wrong date? You have the wrong century, but one assumes that was a typing error.

Is that not Bernard's death posted above ve Mary's?

The one Gourock to n 1884, aged 68.
