Right found that my gg nan married jesse hutchins hambledon surrey 1879 and that she had a daughter sarah alice hutchins birth 9 nov 1879?. but cant find birth mum name on and sarah alice hutchin did not live with her dad but with her aunty sophiahutchins when she was a yr old, her dad jesse lived else where but no records of sarah alice porter(hutchins).
looked into deaths cant find nothing,maybe she left im stuck :-(

I am wondering if the death of Sarah Alice in 1879 that Shirley posted, could be the death of your gg nan. I wonder if she died during/after childbirth looking at the birth date of november 9th, and the burial date of the same month .

looks like the mother sarah died giving birth

guildford is in the hambledon area
