The 1841 census has the family name as BEARDALL...John and Ann..and son Frederick born 1837..............he may have been born illegitimately, but it looks as if the parents married before 1841.easily checked... |

Same man 1871- presumeably FWK stands for Frame work knitter. If the Ann Brown marriage is correct- the children were born before marriage (possibly in the name of Brown?). |
