Didn't you see the other death I posted?

Just checked lancashire bmd..Robert and Mary also had a Herbert Walton...1886..year later William and Julia nee Parker had a Herbert a year later in 1887. But no sign of Herbert Walton on1891 census for Robert and Mary so he must also have died. :-)

Thanks for that everyone. I have Robert and Ellen having child Herbert Walton in 1886...must have got him wrong...glad that's cleared up. Robert and Mary nee pounder had lots of children but she died young in childbirth in 1897.

On the 1871 census for james Walton...does it say where he was born....wondering now if he married Ellen berry? :-)

Was checking to see if the child Robert and Mary had in 1886....Herbert...was the one who died aged three in 1889...seems it might be him as there is no Herbert on the 1891 census you have found.
