Member Since: December 2011 Posts: 76 Send Message	Hi Everyone, hoping you are able to help. I am having problems sorting my husband's Gt. Grandmother. She married Wm.Senior Chorlton-on-Medlock 1875 age 19. 1881 Census shows them living with her widowed mother Catherine in Northwich, Cheshire. 1871 Census shows a Mary Elizabeth b.1860 daughter of Catherine and Thomas. I have found a birth for Mary Elizabeth b.1860 Northwich. I can only find a death, which fits, for a Mary only. Is this likely to be the same child all the way through? Is it likely she would have dropped the Elizabeth part of her name? Any help would be appreciated. :-\ Shirley

	I'm confused. You say that Mary married William Senior 1875 aged 19. Wouldn't that make her born 1856?

	Aged 19 in 1875 she certainly wasn't born in 1860...more like 1855/6 her birth may not have been registered

I really do appreciate the help you have all given me. If I am forgiven then I would much appreciate help with Mary Foxley who married William Senior in Chorlton on Medlock 1875. Their marriage cert. gives the following info. but I am finding it difficult to connect Mary to any census before 1881. After that date there is no problem. Marriage: 25 July 1875 Place: All Saints Church, Chorlton on Medlock in County of Lancaster William Senior 19 Bachelor Boilermaker Grosvenor Street F. Thomas Senior? 	I wondered about that one too, Jacqueline but on Ancestry it also includes wife's father, James Clarke which doesn't match the Mary in 1861 living with her Williams grandparents. 	I would think........ that the child in 1861 is actually GREAT granddaughter to George Williams in view of his age
