The online marriage on 1 Oct 1840 at Holborn, Middlesex, lists Ann Leggatte as Single of full age with father Robert Leggatte Land Surveyor and spouse Charles Childe - Waiter |

Thanks Dea. I hadn't looked for a birth for her but that's looking a bit hopeful. I think I'd splash out on a birth certificate for one of the children to be sure. |

1881 census shows a sister to Charles living with them called Elizabeth BORN: Hertfordshire, England so have ahd a look to see if I could find anything for her and came up with this:- |
