If JWD was indeed 26 when he married on 13 Jan 1930, then the very strong odds are that he was born in 1903 and had not yet had his 27th birthday in 1930, but he could have been born in the first two weeks of January ... |

nuttybongo maybe you would post the actual details and maybe links? that is a little vague for anyone to know what it's about ... found births/baptisms, found them in a census, in a family tree ... ? |

I have found one possibility, that Arthur James could have been born and married in Belfast, I have found one as a James dixon and John William in the family, right age, just a thought :-) |

unfortunately the 1911 shows my guess, John William Bray Dixon as son of John Willam Dixon, a postman |

If it is that birth that JoonieCloonie posted, then the B is Bray, which could give clues as to his ancestry - but marriage certificate needed. |

Thank you for your help everyone, think the cert is maybe the only way to go, seems the female side is a lot easier on this one, and it's usually the hardest due to change of names, but alas no. Oops, thanks :-D |

Looks like you will need the marriage cert for John's age and father's name and occupation |
