I am not so sure that it was so unusual for a woman in 1914 to have beautifuil handwriting - I suppose it would really depend on her 'station' in life ?? |

Yes this is the Eliza who wrote the letter now the Caroline Chamberlan in this census is who? The Chamberlains at Wilsford above have a grave next to the Jessops immediately above tihis and we understand they purchased the plot or the Jessop's annoyingly just can't find the connection between the two Chambelain families |

We also find the mention of Ratcliffe Hall very interesting because the letter is written by a woman who is very articulate and well schooled beautiful writing uncommon for women in 1914 |
