Find Ancestors

Hi friends
I am looking for any bmd 's or census of Robert Best b c1870 in Ireland, prob. Belfast, he married Mary or Margaret Ann Patterson c1893.
They had a son John Best b 1893/4 who married May Amelia Noakes in 1920 British Columbia Canada, any passenger list or military for John would be great too.
I have never search Irish records before and do not know where to order certificates if you guys can find any.

I guess it's possible, is Lurgan in northern Ireland? John was born 1893/4 the marriage in 1884 seems a bit early but maybe a number of children prior to John.

Yes, This is definatley the marriage.
On LSD site John's death in 1981 shows his mother's maiden name as Patterson not Poterson but I am aware of transcript errors.
The shoemaker is a good guide.
