It is quite a complex situation, Matilda gave birth to my grandfather (Alan Leeds) in 1920, Milton in Kent (no father on birth cert) Then 2yrs later, she married Frederick Rogers in Paddington, the same year she gave birth to their child (also called Frederick Rogers) and then 6 yrs later Matilda gave birth to another boy, Philip Rogers. Alan was given away as a young boy (unsure if it was to a Childrens home or if the story is true 'to a family down the road'. Frederick was then put into a Childrens home, and then later so was Philip, although Philip was never aware of the two elder boys and they were never aware of him. All three sadly have passed away, my grandfather actually died many years ago in the 60's.
