I`m looking for Elizabeth Macready, married James Hignett in 1878.I think she was born, in or around Liverpool/Lancashire. I have looked on here but it has returned nothing. Any help please ;-) |

Thanks for your help. I wonder why she was Macready and her father Fairhurst? She must have got adopted by her stepfather. I doubt she would be on a second marriage at 17. looks like I have more delving to do. |

Oh, thanks for that info. Not the done thing in those days. So it seems Macready brought her up. Wonder what happened to Fairhurst. Interesting mmm. |

Oh dear, I didn`t know that. I have found out on mums side of family, my nan was 6 her brother was 4, when her parents married. That wasn`t done a lot in those days either. |
