WHY can't I find James WEBB in AUSTRALIA on the ship MALABAR 1819. Lost him after 1923 when he got his ticket of leave. He then was released to his wife Grace who was then living on Kent street NSW in 1823. PLEASE HELP |

Also there is this one, but I'm pretty sure he's on the 1851 census. |

We have proved conclusively that our James Webb, our convict, did not marry Grace Skippage. So we are going back and are researching the James born to George and Joyce Webb the very same you have come up with. However his birth year of 1779 Bromham, Wiltshire, given on his ticket of leave, does not tally with his burial cerificate which gives his age of 53 when he was buried on 14th April 1831 in NSW. We are looking at this angle at the moment. |
