i am trying to find the birth of maria cunliffe and who her parents were ? she was born about 1841 in glossop shropshire. Can anybody help please. steph

I thought Glossop was in Derbyshire

From births on freebmd for that time, Cunliffe seems to a name from the North of England, mainly Lancashire.

hello all i heard about maria cunliffe from a friend of mine who i am helping her with her tree . i also found her on the 1911 census aged 70 b1841 glossop derbyshire. She is living with her daughter mary and marys husband samuel edgar buckley and all the children.she was a widow then I did find a marriage for her to a John Cunliffe in 1863 in wigan but i am not sure of it.
