Thanks for the pub info that's really kind of you. I found out about the pub that was in our family from c1800 passed down through several generations & I've visited it abt 2 yrs ago. The staff told me there's a "Wagstaff Society" can you believe it? and they regularly meet there for dinner. I'll have to look it up on tinternet!

Many thanks Jude... just had a look at the records, it's great to see it all in b&w not that that am a sceptic! For future research how can I access such records myself or are they for the eyes of the elite?
