Olive WALKER (daughter of Will WALKER and Lily WILDGOOSE) was born 6 Jan 1900. She resided 1949 to 1982 at 299 Dukinfield Road, Hyde, Cheshire. Olive died 15 Feb 1982
Olive married Matthew HACKNEY on 16 Aug 1920 at The Old Chapel, Dukinfield, Cheshire
( even married the same year as the other Olive )

This would appear to rule her out if the death of Olive Beaumonth in 1993 is correct

Nothing else for it, they're going to have to get the marriage cert to see who her father was.

As it's listed as a civil marriage, I assume it was a registry office wedding so won't be on parish records.

Strange that I can't find both Olives births on freebmd.
Unless this is one of them mistranscribed as Oliver ?
It would fit with Olive being 1 year old in 1901

Not my family, trying to sort it out for a friend.
Looks like they've got 2 Tom's mixed up.
Yes, the Father in Law one should have been 1901

There's another born Huddersfield living in Gillingham
and as yet not sure which is the one I'm looking for.

The notes I've been given start with the marriage of Henry Beaumont and Olive Walker in Ashton under Lyne Dec Q 1920

I was told Henry was born in Clitheroe but no idea of Olive's birthplace.
I think they are going to have to buy the cert to find Olive's age and father.

I couldn't see it either Rootgatherer but I found one with those same details on 1901 so thought he might have quoted it from there?

He was a father-in-law and his wife was Ann - same details as I have posted for the one on 1911 above?
