Mine is the 1899 one,the other one is his cousin,but he died in 1965.The other Francis Emerson on the records is my Great Granddad's father who died in 1920. |

Oh Liz - how true!!! I am waiting for a will...Grand uncle married in 1900. Have him in 1911 "married" but no sign of wife. Have found her in Bury with a dentist from Newport - claims to have been married for 10 years..no marriage...because she was certainly still married to my grand uncle.....and I am hoping to prove that he died away from his family with a barmaid working for him and his wife in 1901!!!!!!!!!!! |
