Would like some help in finding the family of Leonard Crowther born c1890 died march 1965 Southampton. Pretty sure its him in Cowes Isle of Wight in the 1911 census. He's from Grimsby and was lodging. He married Sarah MaCauley from Ireland but cant find a wedding. His father was a sail maker. His mother died about 1897. Any help much appreciated. |

Dont know her name only that Leonards mother died when he was about seven. I believe Leonard married Sarah before 1915 when the first child was born. They had two daughters Frances and Irene and son Harold all born in Southampton. |

The probate GB found confirms that the 1917 birth appears to be correct. |

If this IS the correct 1911 then it looks like it may be his brother with him: |

Are you presuming the 1911 is correct then looked at at the 1901 and found his father, Edwin, is a sail maker or do you have any proof of his occupation |

Yes Sorry must have got the 1915 wrong. Irene and Frances are his daughters. Harold died in France in 1944. So they married in Dublin. Leonard died in Southampton in 1965. Sarah in 1963.Great stuff! Thanks! |
