I have found Hannah Charlesworth (Birth 1839 Southwell - FreeBMD) in the 1841 census at Southwell, Kneesall but I am having difficulty establishing her parents. Can anybody see the family at that time please?

Thank you brummiejan and Prickly Holly. William and Keziah are great. There is a grandaughter Keziah born 1876ish but I am syill perplexed by all the changes made by GenedReunited and IGI - sleuthing ancestors used to be fun but now it is just hardwork for this old wrinkly!

I have been trying to find the births of the parents, William and Keziah (Cassia some places) with no success so far. Is there any sign of them in 1851 please, perhaps with a 'modified surname', as I am failing to see them in my searching.

Hi brummiejan now you have really upset the pigeons with your cat! but I suppose it is possible that the parents replaced the dead baby with another child of the same name - not an uncommon practice at that time.
The Keziah in 1851 suggests a birth of c.1798. Are there any other places apart from IGI that detail births before 1837?

Took an interest in this as I lived in a village very close to Ollerton and Kneesall.
