ta much on lucy mcmanus already im in touch with relatives of her husband. on a census ifound lucy had a sister 2 years older than her called mary.its of great comfort to me they even lived even though inever met them thanks again.

i dont know if mary married or not i didnt even know her name was mary , she was always a mysterious aunty molly who sent me presents after her little brother died. she always referred to my dad like that. she wrote aletter to my mam in 1957 just after dad died no address just tingewick buckingham. re patrick mcguire i think he married an anne mc manus maybe he married owens sister and vice-versad

sorry about previous replies. i m relatively new to research ioften press the wrong buttons! yes my aunt mary was born mcmanus she was the eldest of three until recently i was led to believe my grandad joseph was an orphan and had no siblings. as you can imagine it was quite a shock to find all of these new people. i only live about 60 miles from middlesborough .i thought iwas the last one to carry the family name as my brother has no kids and i have only a daughter now i want to meet surviving family members if only in respect for my father jimmy mcmanus who died when i was 4 . again apologies and many many thanks.
