ErikaH Report 12 Oct 2012 13:35

Why didn't you say so, if you knew?

The certs will give you the info you want

I am not 100% and do not want to spend money on a certificate when it could be the wrong one.

The family lived in Woodford, Essex so I would assume that the baptisms/burials happened in that area.

Are there any websites that hold the info I am looking for?

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 15 Oct 2012 09:41

Not free ones, apart from familysearch, which has very limited coverage of Essex

What do you know about the parents?

Thank you for the info, I had the census and marriage info.

There is a rumour in the family that the child was a girl called Harriet but nothing was ever said about her or her death... Therefore the only harriet I found that matched the dates was the one posted above. All other children they had had their births registered in the Westham district too

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 27 Oct 2012 10:43

So you're discounting the possibility that they had a child in the area in which they married before moving to West Ham.........................

The marriage info was posted only because you had failed to state its location

Family stories are often just that........stories.

I'll leave this with you now.....................hope you get the answer you want
