I have Sarah Ellen Walder in 1911 and 1901 living in Kendal, Westmorland. Married to a Frederick Jackson ...But I cannot find her before that. She was born in Dalmellington, Ayshire, Scotland in 1876.

Just been on Free Bmd and found a birth for a Sarah Ellen Walder in Ulverstone, which is the Lake District, and yet on the 1911 census she says she was born in Ayrshire, Scotland. Maybe she meant she lived there for a while ??

I was at the GRO today, and while I was there I remembered this post.!
So I looked it up .....
SARAH HELEN Walder was born on 3 Jan 1877 at 82 Craigneuk, Dalmellington, Ayrshire

Her brother James Walder was born 2 Oct 1879 also Dalmellington
Sarah's birth cert confirms that her parents were David Walder (coal Miner) and Helen Vickery who married in Carlisle on 19 Feb 1870
