Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Not finding on the 1911 census though.

Sometimes if girls were in service they would be given a name by the lady of the house that they would be known by and not the actual name . Maybe she was in service .

I've tried Gen* Jen* Eva and various spelling for Genevive as well as Geneva both with and without a surname but no luck so far
