Hi everyone,

I have now found I had the wrong name of Louisa May Ford it should be Louisa Mary Ford. She says on the 1901 and 1911 census she was born in Maesteg Glmorgan. Could this be the Neath registration?
Thank you to Shirley for Williams birth. I now have to find their marriage. They certainly moved around a bit. The rumour was that Louisa Mary and William married in Tyndrum or Rannoch Moor. Having looked this up on a map I cannot imagine why? Why would Louisa Mary go up to the wildes of Scotland to marry. I am still searching for this.
Thank you everyone for your help.
Regards Linda

Linda Report 19 Sep 2012 17:15

Can anyone help please? I am looking for William Norman born 1869 Egremont, Cumberland. I have found him on the 1901 census and 1911 census. 1901 he is living with his wife and three children in Wiltshire. His wife is Louisa M. born 1875 Maesteg, Glamorgan. On the 1911 census he now has 6 children and lives in Bedwelty, Monmouthshire. I am trying to find him on the 1891 census. He might have lived in Scotland as there is a rumour that he was married in 1895 in Scotland in either Tyndrum or Rannoch Mor. There is also talk of him being a Crane Driver on the Forth Bridge Railway. On the census returns he is an Engine Driver. Perhaps someone with access to the Scottish records could do a look up for me please?
I also cannot find a birth for Louisa May Ford his wife born 1874 in Maesteg, Glamorgan so any help there also appreciated.

Thank you.
Linda
