Hi......I would like to find as much information on the family of Ellen Young born 1892 Pangbourne Berkshire......she married my Uncle Richard Wellington Bailey b1889 Chadldlesworth Berkshire...they were married abt 1921 Bradfield Berkshire. I dont think they had any children.

Note that the 1841 Census does NOT show the relationship between people living in the same house. Thus, there is no explanation of Frederic Smithling. The image is hard to read, but my feeling is that Frederic belongs to the woman and another young person living in West End Cottage ....... and that Alexander may have been their Gardener.


Plus the ages of people over the age of 15 are usually rounded down to the nearest 5 ........ so may be as much as 4 years younger than the actual age.
