It seems tha Rawcliffe comes under Snaith. It doesnt come under Northallerton. It does cause a problem though I just looked up Jabez on FreeBMD and the only one born in about the right area is the one you found. More detective work needed I think

I'm not sure if it is my relative. I have seen the name spelt several different ways Jaber/Jabir and Jabez. I not sure about the registration district either but I thought it was Goole. I will have to check it out on FreeBMD or GENUKI they should be able to put me straight.
