The birth year is wrong, but do you think this might be Jabir? The birth cert would give you Mar's name. No idea if Rawcliffe comes under Northallerton!!

I'm not sure if it is my relative. I have seen the name spelt several different ways Jaber/Jabir and Jabez. I not sure about the registration district either but I thought it was Goole. I will have to check it out on FreeBMD or GENUKI they should be able to put me straight.

I will add it to my notes just in case.

It seems tha Rawcliffe comes under Snaith. It doesnt come under Northallerton. It does cause a problem though I just looked up Jabez on FreeBMD and the only one born in about the right area is the one you found. More detective work needed I think
