Help to trace Richard Prior c 1919

Been trying to track down this ancestor of my Husband. we believe he joined the Merchant Navy and that he ended up in south Africa as a music Critic on a news paper in Johannesburg. I have been unable to find anything to verify any of this ...any one got and suggestions |

Have you done a google search for Johannesburg newspapers? They will have contact details and very likely have some kind of archives. |
