I am trying to trace Clementina who I believe died in New Zealand in1967. Any information at all would be a help. |

Thank you so much for finding all that information. Very frustrating not being able to trace Clementina. I dont know if she got married, but I had a search and didnt find anything. Her mother Isabella remarried after David died in 1898. Her new husband was called John Pert and I even tried searching under Clementina Pert but to no avail. perhaps thats why the family seemed to separate, as I know Isabella and John had a son and a daughter. |

Just posting for reference Katrina. It is a mystery where Clementina is. She should be somewhere on the 1901 as she is surely not going to emigrate at the age of 12! |

I'm actually wondering about this one. I can't find any other records for a Christiana and ancestry are notoriously bad at transcribing Scottish records. You may want to see the image yourself but you would need to buy credits on scotlandspeople. |

I think Gush /Gash Farm was in Letham about 5 miles from Forfar and 10 miles from Arbroath. |

Betty Swankie, who married Mr Littlejohn in 1924 (see Anne's post above) was the daughter of Mr J S Swankie of Arbroath. |

I had a look at some other trees to see if I could work at a Swankie/ Cargill marriage or connection. |
