Hey! Not very often there's a query on here for someone in my Familytree maker. I'm not related but our family tree has become a database for all of the founding families in this area.

I don't have much about Margaret other than she was born abt. 1904, Hastings and had a sister Violet born abt. 1898 Hastings and married Arthur Oullette.

Walter & Margaret had a daughter Dorothy Helen Empey who married Albert James Seyeau and had 3 daughters.

Albert James Seyeau's obit is here under Cornwall obits:

On that 1925 US census daughter Dorothy A. is 153 days old and was born US so they must have moved over there shortly after marriage. Massena, New York is just across the river from Cornwall, Ontario and there was, and still is, much going back and forth.

From the Massena Observer, 28 June 1934 under heading "Fort Covington" (a small village east of Massena):

Mr. & Mrs. Walter Empey and daughter Dorothy visited relatives & friends in town Monday.

I know that Walter and Margaret died in Canada as I just idly google theit names one day and found a cemetery inscription that someone had put online I think I recall it was Old Williamsburg Cemetery!!

Yes, there should be a photo of the tombstone on this site under Williamsburg Old but it's not there.
